By the end of the one-day course participants will be able to:

  1. Understand and explain principles and values underpinning Independent Advocacy
  2. Be able to explain what self advocacy is and where and when it can be used
  3. Understand rights and responsibilities in relation to self advocacy
  4. Be aware of the skills and strategies required to successfully self-advocate
  5. Understand how self advocacy can support the development and improvement of services

 

We can provide these courses at a venue of your choosing nationwide for groups of up to 20 learners. Venues must provide a flipchart and own refreshments. The trainer’s travel and accommodation expenses will be charged at cost.

The cost of this training is from £720.00 per day (no VAT), which includes training delivery, course materials and a certificate of attendance for each learner.
