Peer Advocacy - Advocacy Training

This one-day course aims to provide learners with an understanding & awareness of what Independent Peer Advocacy is, an understanding of and how to use the principles which underpin good practice in advocacy, the identification of some of the challenges that can arise with Independent Peer Advocacy and strategies to resolve these.

By the end of the day the learner will be able to:

  1. Understand Independent Peer Advocacy
  2. Explain principles underpinning Independent Peer Advocacy
  3. Understand the roles and responsibilities of an Independent Peer Advocate

 

We can provide these courses at a venue of your choosing nationwide for groups of up to 20 learners. Venues must provide a flipchart and own refreshments. The trainer’s travel and accommodation expenses will be charged at cost.

The cost of this training is from £720.00 per day (no VAT), which includes training delivery, course materials and a certificate of attendance for each learner.
